Job Description:
A company is looking for a Software Programmer Associate to
develop and maintain software solutions for the National Data Buoy
Center.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to implement maintainable software
code that meets customer requirements
Gather and clarify requirements from stakeholders and demonstrate
progress through working software
Refactor existing code and troubleshoot software applications to
ensure data flow integrity
Required Qualifications
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information
Systems, or Mathematics preferred
4+ years of experience in software application development
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, PHP, C/C++, SQL,
XML, and HTML
Experience with web-based development and database concepts
Familiarity with Linux, Windows operating systems, and LAMP stack
development is desired
